At Airecraft, we use water-based auto air paints by Createx. Water based paints are safer to use on plastic because unlike petroleum-based products, our paints won’t weaken the structure and make of the airbrushed batting helmet so it’s protective nature does not get compromised. We also offer you two types of clear: the standard and extra protection clears. Both clears are auto finish clears so you can’t really tell the difference between the two. All helmets are clear coated 2-3 times after being airbrushed. However, for the extra protection clear, we double that. The latter requires more dry time though but is highly recommended for the more hard-hitting players. All our airbrushed batting helmets are guaranteed pretty and tough.
